Broccoli fry is a dry curry served with rice. This is a very kid friendly recipe and is something made regularly in my kitchen. Broccoli is rich in vitamin K and vitamine C. I first eat broccoli fry at a friends place and absolutely loved it. Kids like it so much that they can just eat it by itself without rice. Its one of our family favorite curry.

Procedure
- Cut the broccoli in to small florets. I keep some of the stem because it is crunchy.
- Wash the broccoli florets under running water. You can also soak it in boiled water for 2 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a non stick pan.
- Add the mustard and cumin seeds and wait till it splutters.
- Then add the cut broccoli, turmeric, chili powder, salt, and coriander/ cumin powder. Stir fry without covering on medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Make sure to stir gently every minutes.
- Cover it with a lid and cook for 10-12 minutes. Open and stir every 2 minutes.
- The broccoli should be cooked but still have the crunchy.
- Transfer to a dish and eat with hot rice and some ghee,
